Branch Events

The branches of IPEd host workshops, seminars, member meetings and other events that are open to all IPEd members and non-members. Information and booking details are listed on the Events page of this website.

IPEd is delighted to welcome our first Affiliate, Cadman Training.

While our website offers member benefits from an array of organisations, IPEd has formalised an agreement with Cadman Training to ensure members receive discounts on Cadman Training classes and IPEd also receives a benefit to help us provide member services to you.

You can access the Cadman Training courses discount via the MemNet portal, or go to Resources for Editors, then click on Member discounts. Scroll down to Cadman and then use the link to go to Affiliate training courses.

IPEd member Hilary Cadman AE offers online courses in PerfectIt and EndNote.

The courses combine videos, exercises and quizzes, making it easy to track your progress. Lifetime access means you can always return to the courses.

IPEd members receive a 25% discount on all Cadman training courses.

All the PerfectIt courses can be taken using the free trial version of PerfectIt and, if you decide to buy the program, IPEd provides a 30% discount on the purchase price.

EndNote is a reference management program used by academics and researchers. For editors, becoming confident in using EndNote can open new opportunities.

EndNote for editors is a 6–8 hour course that will give you the confidence to work with authors who use EndNote.

IPEd has established the Editors Directory. Clients can search the directory for freelance editors using specific criteria. These will identify editors that have specific interests, skills or experience in certain areas.
