Finance Officer - Position description

The IPEd Finance Officer reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for IPEd accounting, banking, payroll and BAS returns. IPEd uses the web-based accounting system Xero. The membership system, MEMNET, linked to a payment gateway for online payments provides income and accounts receivable ledger exports to the accounting system

The Finance Officer position is initially 0.2 - 0.3 FTE with competitive remuneration. It is a national role, working remotely, typically from home and communicating with other staff members using email, web-based discussion and chat tools and teleconferencing.

IPEd has established the Editors Directory. Clients can search the directory for freelance editors using specific criteria. These will identify editors that have specific interests, skills or experience in certain areas.
