Style Sheets webinar recording - buy now

Posted on: 17 January 2019

Style sheets are an essential tool for any proficient editor. However, some editors don’t know what they are; there are others who know about style sheets but don’t bother to use them.

In November 2018, Dr Malini Devadas presented a popular webinar on style sheets for IPEd. The webinar covered the following topics:

  • What is a style sheet (and how does it differ from other editing resources)?
  • What is the purpose of a style sheet?
  • How do you create a style sheet?
  • How do you decide what to put in a style sheet?

The webinar was recorded, with the recording made available to everyone who registered (whether they attended live or not). IPEd is now making the webinar recording available for purchase to anyone else. If you missed out, you can use our booking system to pay for access. You will be provided with the URL to the video and a password to access the recording at any time.

The webinar was primarily aimed at people new to editing. However, even experienced editors who know they should be using style sheets but never get around to setting them up may find this useful as well!

She has been presenting writing and editing workshops and webinars for more than 10 years, at universities around Australia as well as for IPEd, the Canberra Society of Editors, the Australian Science Communicators and the Australasian Medical Writers Association.

Find an editor

IPEd has established the Editors Directory. Clients can search the directory for freelance editors using specific criteria. These will identify editors that have specific interests, skills or experience in certain areas.
