The society meets every first Tuesday of the month at
6.30 p.m. for 7 p.m. at the
Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts

Cost:$15 for members who RSVP
$20 for non-members and members who do not RSVP
$7 concession available to those holding a current
Centrelink or DVA concession card.

NSW Society meeting
The Computers and Law Journal is a publication of the Australian and New Zealand Societies for Computers and the Law.
It is published qarterly and sent to all members of the Societies in each Australian State and the New Zealand Society (comprising more than 800 practising judges, barristers, solicitors corporate counsel, computer and telecommunications company executives and academics), along with a number of universities and other institutions colocation.
It is a highly specialised Journal, publishing articles, comments and reviews on the fields of the law and computer information, technology, convergance, internet and telecommunications.
The society is in the process of updating it's website, including access to past journals online managed dedicated hosting. Members will eventually be able to download the entire journal collection, each issue as a single pdf file. Non-members will eventually have access to the publicly available e-book interface being developed, and only for copies of the journal more than a year old.
Membership includes freelance and in-house editors working on books, journals, magazines and corporate and public sector productions, as well as indexers, proofreaders, writers, translators, and others, among whom the common bond is a dedication to language and effective communication asp net hosting.
