Twenty-twenty vision: Looking forward, looking back
SfEP Conference: 8–9 September 2008, St Catherine’s College, Oxford

You can now register for this year’s Society for Editors and Proofreaders (UK) conference.

Celebrating 20 years of the SfEP, They’ll be looking forward as well as looking back over the two decades the Society has been in existence. The conference will review some of these changes and help delegates to look forward to an exciting and stimulating future in publishing. The conference programme will be a mix of workshops, seminars, plenary sessions and panel discussions—and of course networking and socialising with other delegates.

Speakers at Oxford will include Charlotte Brewer, fellow of Hertford College and lecturer in English, Oxford University, and author of Treasure-House of the Language: The Living OED (Yale University Press, 2007). Also speaking will be our charismatic honorary vice-president David Crystal.
