By the IPEd Accreditation Board
On Monday 22 August, a total of 60 candidates sat the 2022 IPEd accreditation exam, capably supervised by a total of 25 invigilators in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Venues in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney hosted 55 of the candidates, while the other five candidates sat the exam at a location of their choice under remote invigilation.
The Accreditation Board extends a heartfelt thank you to our volunteers: the invigilators for their efforts in ensuring the exam went smoothly in both venues and remote sittings; the two exam coordinators, Amanda Webster AE and Linda Nix AE; and the exam development team (the exam writers and those involved in the trial exam back in May). These teams put in hours of work behind the scenes over many, many months.
Work on the exam continues for the coordinators and the assessment team, and further announcements will be made about results in November.
