AUSIT webinar explores brand building

The Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT) invites IPEd members to register for a webinar titled ‘Using the power of social media to build your brand’.
The Zoom online webinar is on Tuesday 10 November at 7pm AEST, 8pm AEDT.
Your business needs a presence on social media. Why? Because social media is an essential piece of your business marketing. Social platforms help you connect with customers, boost leads and sales and increase awareness about your brand.
What is the most effective way to build your business through social media?
The webinar will be guided by marketing specialist Bindi McGrath and social media expert Casey McKenna, talking about what makes social media so important for your business marketing.
The 90-minute webinar will explore:
- What is brand identity and how do you build your brand through social media
- Why is social media important for business? Background will be given on the importance of social media for building and growing your business.
- Which social media platforms are right for you? The webinar will explore the various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and investigate which platforms are best for different industries.
- The importance of developing a social media strategy — this will include details about what you should include.
- Setting up your profile and bios — what information should you include and why.
- What should you post to social media accounts? Ways to generate content that engages your target audience and ways to schedule content to make life easier.
- What metrics should you report on? This will help you determine if you have met or exceeded the goals you set in your strategy, or if there needs to be improvement.
- Social media to support your SEO strategy — social media should form part of your SEO strategy and the webinar investigates why.
