Bringing the accreditation exam online
The Accreditation Board spent much of 2020 investigating and evaluating ways to fast-track bringing the accreditation exam online.
A limited number of candidates remotely sitting the 2020 exam enabled us to conduct practical tests and include this implementation in our feasibility study. In January 2021 we presented a detailed report of our findings and recommendations to the IPEd Board.
The AB decided that ‘the most operationally feasible, equitable and cost-effective model for future exams remains the hybrid model used in 2020’.
