From the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers
Looking to expand your editing skills? Are you interested in becoming a Wikipedia editor?
The Library and Information Science WikiProject is a fun and supportive place to learn. You don’t have to be a librarian! Bring your editing skills and in return, we will help you learn how to work in Wikipedia and other Wikimedia platforms.
The project is led by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers (ANZSI) and has started with a focus on indexing related content. We’re also adding information about Australian libraries and librarians. We won’t be stopping there, though, so bring your enthusiasm for books and information, and we’ll see where it takes us.
To find out more, you’re welcome to join our “Drop in and Wiki” sessions, which are held fortnightly on Fridays via Zoom. For details, contact Mary Coe at coe.mary@gmail.com.
You can also learn more about the project on the Wikimedia Australia website.
Already working in Wikipedia or Wikidata? You’re welcome to visit our project page on Wikidata and join us there.
