By the time this edition of Gatherings is published, IPEd’s 2021 conference, Editing on the edges, will be over, after three years of planning to deliver six workshops, 22 presentations and a quiz over three days.
It hasn’t quite finished for the committee and support staff, of course — we have feedback to gather and reports to write. Recordings will be edited and published so delegates can catch up on sessions they missed.
If you attended the conference, don’t forget to complete your feedback form — one lucky person will win a hamper of Tasmanian goodies.
In coming months we’ll deliver more professional development opportunities in the leadup to the Annual Branch Meeting (ABM) in September, when I’ll be stepping down as Branch President. If you are interested in a committee role, get in touch with me and I’ll give you an idea of what’s involved.
On the current schedule, we aren’t due to run another conference until 2037, so the workload won’t be so overwhelming.
