Digital Style Manual now live
The Australian Government’s digital Style Manual went live on 24 September.
The manual is a free resource intended for anyone ‘who writes, edits or approves Australian Government content’, and is an initiative of the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA).

Take the ELS exam online
The Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) developed the Editors in Life Sciences (ELS) exam to test and evaluate proficiency in editing in the life sciences.

Conference decision soon
A cloud of uncertainty has hung over the 2021 conference since COVID-19 hit. For the past six months, we’ve been working with the Finance and Risk Management Committee and IPEd Project Officer Tay Winchester on two options.

2020 accreditation exam update
Exam registrations are at their highest level since the first exam in 2008. At the time of writing, with still a few weeks before registrations close on 8 November, just over 100 people have registered to sit the exam on Saturday 5 December.

IPEd Mentoring Program gets a facelift
The IPEd Mentoring Program for editors was started as a pilot program by the Canberra Society of Editors (CSE).
Since late 2012 it has grown from a CSE project to become an IPEd program in 2015 and has now expanded to New Zealand.
