Description

Do you have basic familiarity with running macros in Microsoft Word but suspect you are not getting the most out of them? If so, this workshop will help you to bring your skills to the next level. You’ll learn more about one of Word’s most powerful features which, when used to its full potential, can help you to edit more efficiently. This course includes writing, annotating, developing and debugging macros in the Visual Basic Editor (including programming concepts such as for…next loops, arrays and functions) and how to find solutions to your macro problems online. As well as a two-hour intensive session of practical training in macros on your PC or Mac, you’ll receive:

  • a detailed handout containing screenshots tailored to your version of Word
  • a macros template for your future use.

Prerequisites: a computer running a fully functioning version of Word other than MacWord 2008, which does not allow macros.
