EdsQ’s Brisbane conference dinner
IPEd members in Editors Queensland managed to hold three conference dinners: one in the Sunshine Coast, one in Toowoomba and one in Brisbane. In Brisbane, it was lovely to see some new faces and make new connections.
Would you like to volunteer with EdsQ?
We are in conversation with two members about two volunteer roles we advertised previously: a small administrative role for our speaker events, and the role of Professional Development Coordinator and liaison person with the IPEd Standing Committee on Professional Development (SCPD). If you, too, are interested in either of these roles, it would be great to hear from you, because we’d appreciate having some backup.
You do not have to be in Brisbane, because all meetings are held online.

If you are an IPEd member affiliated with EdsQ, we invite you to consider what skills and knowledge you have that could be of interest to other editors, particularly those in the early stages of their career.
