Rosie Award nominations open soon
The Rosanne Fitzgibbon Editorial Award (the Rosie) for editorial excellence honours the memory of Rosanne Fitzgibbon DE (1947–2012) — a distinguished editor of literary fiction, nonfiction and scholarly work in literary studies. She was the inaugural recipient of the Beatrice Davis Editorial Fellowship in 1992.
The Rosie recognises excellence in editing, as demonstrated in one published work (single title or series). The 2021 Rosie Award will be announced at the 10th IPEd Editors Conference in Hobart, Tasmania, next year.

Nominations open 1 December 2020
Between 1 December 2020 to 15 March 2021, IPEd will call for in-house and freelance editors, publishers and authors to nominate eligible works. Works nominated must have been published between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020. The winning editor receives a cash prize of $4000.
Call for judges opens 1 February 2021
From 1 February 2021 to 1 March 2021, IPEd will call for judges. The judging panel will be made up of Australian or Aotearoa/New Zealand-based authors, publishers and accredited or distinguished editors. Judges will each be paid $250.
