The request for expressions of interest in joining the IPEd Standards Working Party (ISWP) gained us several new volunteers.
The current ISWP members are Joely Taylor ELS(D) AE, Julie Ganner AE, Justine Dixon Cooper, Kerry Davies AE, Linda Nix AE, Marja Stack AE, Paula Wagemaker, Ruth Davies AE, Sharon Lierse and Sue Pavasaris AE. The group will appoint a chair at its next meeting.
The ISWP has started reviewing the various submissions on proposed revisions to the Standards. The next steps will be scoping out the drafting and wider consultation phases that will follow, and identifying gaps in skills and experience among the ISWP members and where the ISWP will need to seek specific expertise. Further updates will be provided as the work progresses.
